its funny how anthing a believer does, is so often credited to the big fiction above us. Stuff like "I couldn't have hit that homerun, if not for jesus/god and thosands of hours of practice"
My favorite is "god revealed X to me". As if every thought in your head is not your, but implanted by God. Some people try to distinguish how they can tell the difference, but its always some arbitrary nonsense.
The study of evoution was truly a revealtion to me, how is this any different than any other revealtion ascribed to God?

I tried to ask a similar question here, and nearly all of the atheists missed the joke!
The next time an theist is trying to convert you, just claim you have faith in your atheism-- even if you make it clear you're joking, it shuts them up right quick! :-D

Well it is wasn't for God, then he wouldn't have been there in the first place to hit that homerun. Whats wrong with someone thanking the person they believe gave them life.
Good for you, You believe Evolution and you believe everything you read in your small town local newspaper. Good for you.
You can believe whatever you want too.
God revealed plenty to me. I know he did because I am a HUMAN BEING, I am self-centered, think I am smarter and better then everyone and every once in a while, when I ask God for guidance, I get compassionate and I think of others. I become SELF-LESS and that is how I know the difference.
It is called being aware of my FLAWS.

It was Satan who revealed the "lie" to you about evolution just like he lied to Eve when he told her she wouldn't die when she ate of the forbidden fruit. And just like her you beleive that lie

Because God does not lie.....thus, that revelation must have been from satan, and allowed by God.
