What would happen if Israel decided to remove the Dome of the Rock? Are they deciding to that any time soon?

The temple will be rebuilt.In Revelation 11,it says ,John was told to 'measure the temple of God and the altar but do not measure the court (called The Court of the Gentiles)outside leave that out,for it is given over to the nations.'
A lot of scholars think the Dome of the Rock is built where the court of the Gentiles was.And that the Anti- Christ,when he comes in his peacemaking mode(first 31/2 years) will convince Islam to let the Temple be built on the Court area of the Jews.Then of course he will go in and proclaim himself God and defile the Temple and that's when all Hell breaks loose ,literally.

It isnt the Dome of the Rock that really matters, or isnt holy for that matter. The site that is holy is the Masjid al-Aqsa, where the Israelis are digging under. There was the first Qibla of the Muslims nad there is the place where the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him led the prayer. This is what the PRophet Muhammad peace be uipon him talked about and it is htis that is mentioned int he Qur'an, not the Dome of hte Rock that was built some time after taking back Palestine. Maybe if you rephrased yoru question:

What would happen if Israel decided to remove the Masjid al-Aqsaa? then that is a problem, it will probably give the biggest and best excuse for those extremists like Bin Laden and co to gain the support of the whole Muslim world.

Jerusalem is about to become the new capital of the new state of Palestine. The question of the Dome of the Rock doesn't matter anymore.

This is what Bush, the Israeli leaders, and the Arab leaders have all decided. It will become a reality in November at the next Summit.

Israel is going down like the Titanic. The Israeli people have sat back and let it happen. They are in part responsible for what is about to happen - blood is on their hands for their own people who will soon be murdered, raped, and their homes and businesses burned to the ground.

However, the Israelis are weary, they are spirit worn down, they are tired and depressed. After years and years of being suicide bombed on buses, in pizza parlors, at bus stops, in malls, etc. dead Jewish men, women, and babies everywhere, while Bush and the European Nations and the UN refused to allow the Jews to put a swift and final stop to the terrorism, the Jews in Israel have become so demoralized, so beaten down, and have turned against their own bretheren in Samaria, Judea, Amona, Gaza, Hebron, and all the other places which have been or are about to be ethnically cleansed of Jews.

They have bought into their Israeli leader's (who are in the back pockets of Arab oil, European and American money) rhetoric that almost all of Israel is occupied by Jewish "settlers" and for the past few years the IDF, the Israeli Army, has beaten and killed Jews and removed them forcibly from the lands they owned. They believe the Israeli leaders who say that if they only give up this land, or that land, the Arabs will want peace. And so they do. And there is no peace. Because that has never been the goal of the Arabs, the goal of the Arabs is to wipe Israel off the map and kill every single last Jew -- and they have said so many, many, many times.


When Arabs come to uproot olive trees and other crops owned by jewish farmers, the IDF PROTECTS the Arabs, allows them to do it, stands there and does nothing, but will beat the Jew over the head or take him to jail if he protests.

Does this get out to the people all over the world? Have you heard of this? Probably not, and it's only the tip of the iceberg.

When Israel took back its land, it also took back the Temple Mount. Immediately after doing this, the leaders TURNED AROUND and gave it back to the Arabs! The most holy site in the entire world, they just gave back to the Arabs. The Arabs at first thought it was a trap. Now they believe they have always owned it, and it belongs to them.

And so it will, legally, now. There will be no more Israel, no more Jewish state, no more Jews because the goal has always been to exterminate the Jews and wipe Israel off the map. It is just about to happen now, in November.

So your question really doesn't matter anymore.

Right now - a huge war. There is some negotiating going on right now. But we've heard that many times before. The verse below seems to indicate some kind of a sharing agreement. But we know that it will be built because of all the scripture about the anti-christ...especially when Jesus referred to Daniel's prophecy.

14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

I don't think its going to be that easy, because the whole Muslim world would attack them. There are some prophecy teachers that understand it will be the Antichrist who will make possible the construction of the temple by signing a 7-year covenant with Israel. Some think it will be constructed where the Dome is, others that it will be constructed in an arean immediately adjacent to the Dome.

Well , all hell would probably break loose. But I look at it this way, This abomination of Islam on God's Holy Hill will come off at some point. How or when I dont know. I pray that God will strike it off Mt Zion with lighting and thunderbolts with all the world's cameras filming the whole thing and with not one single death. Of course the politically correct liberal press will spin it that the dirty Israelis did it. Then the third and final Temple can be built which must happen before Christ returns. Even so come Lord Jesus...

All hell would break lose. I wish someone would drop an atom bomb on the top of the Dome of the Rock?
It would destroy every religion on the face of the earth and then maybe people would stop fighting.
The Jews believe their messiah will come back there, same with the muslims and the Christians. they all have spent their lives fighting over one tiny piece of real estate.
I wonder if someone did if the muslims would say because the ground would be radio active for the next 200 years.
Maybe we were wrong and stop fighting.

1) no, its not holy for jews. in fact its not even possible for jewish people to go there.

2) not going to because it would just instantly make war break out.

3) my personal belief is that the muslims will somehow mistakenly blow it up themselves. that or a natural phenomena destroy it.

(I mean something like a misfiring missile against israel)

edit: to clarify slightly, the *spot* that it is on, IS holy to jews. but the dome of the rock being on THAT spot, is foffensive and a constant insult to israel and the jews for it to be there.

My prayers is that some intelligent Americans would build a huge bomb like Ok city and place it in that place and blow it up. Or at least send in a few airplanes like they did the World trade center and blow that place up. That would be the only way justice will ever be served.
Or that the world will ever have peace.
Every religion thinks it is holy that would stop that for a long time.
