yet it's known to operate within a person. Why do you ask to be shown proof of God's existance yet He is Spirit. Can you yourselves show or prove the existance of that inner being covered by your shell (body)?

Bzzzzz.

Sorry straw man argument. Thanks for playing, try again later.

Show me the proof that a spirit or soul operates within a person. Just claiming it out of the blue is not sufficient.

Unless you are talking about my brain there is no inner being that is covered by my body.

So without proof of a soul your argument totally collapses.

I'm not being mean, but your argument won't work because the majority of atheists do not believe in the existence of souls. They do not believe humans or any other creatures have souls or spirits.

its known the soul operates within a person among people who believe in a soul. i however do not. therefore i do not believe the soul operates a person and therefore again that is not proof for god.

Who says a "spirit" or "soul" is "known" to operate within a person? I don't believe that.

Hey buddy .... when you say a man has spirit, it is in christian context .... for most atheists ...... they do not even believe such a thing call spirit or soul. What gives you the idea one fallacy is greater then another?

The "spirit" of a person you are referring to is actually contained within the brain - the knowledge, personality, wisdom, thoughts, etc. We know because we can detect what neurons are firing when, and through cases of brain injury.

No such thing is known. There is no evidence for a separate, non-physical, and immortal part of any living creature, including humans.

people with their "spirit' gone are in a coma/brain dead You sure notice the difference between people who are brain dead and who aren't. You don't have to look hard at all to see the difference.
