i'm joining the army so what kind of stuff do you do to get in or what kind of training

Not much really. here are a few things I know of
1) high school diploma or GED
2) Pass a physical
3) Pass a background check (severity depending on job)
They do a drug test, so if you do anything, try to get it out of your system before you start to sign up, or else it will delay you a good bit. Remember to be open on jobs and not just jump on infantry because it's bad-a##. Try to get one that you enjoy and will be able to give you a good future if you don't want to be a carrerist.

Kid, the ONLY things you need to join the Army are...
A head on your shoulders and Common Sense...
Uncle Sam will give you everything else you need.

nothing except parental permission if under 18, high school diploma or ged and a lack of a criminal record. the better you do on the entrance exams the more likely you will get a job you want. the army will provide the rest. it will be what you make of it. it will have highs and lows just as any other job will. you will make friends and enemies just as you will in any other job. out of 21 yrs i enjoyed most all of it.

First of all you need to take the ASVAB, then if you pass,YOU will pick an MOS (job),Get your Physicals at the MEPS then off to Basic Training then AIT then your first assignment!!
YOU must be Physically fit , mentally & morally straight, have good character and be an outstanding citizen, excellent grades in school are also a plus!

don't train yourself to shoot. they prefer if you don't know how to shoot, because civilians shoot in a totally different way then the military shoots. you don't really need to take anything with you, they will provide everything you need. as for training. high school. maybe some college. but college isn't a must. the army will teach you EVERYTHING they want you to know. and they will teach you in the manner that they want you to know it.

To get in visit goarmy.com or your nearest recruiting station and the first recruiter you meet will be glad to do whatever it takes to get you in. Please I advise that you check out all your options and do not sign anything until YOU are completely satisfied. Because whatever decision you make you have to live with it for your military career.

start running and have you passed the test and no drugs
and cool that you are joining the army it will make you though i thoght about it
