i like to socialize and have fun. the problem is i am broke. how can i "work" the bar better and get more free drinks? i dress real seductive, but it doesn't seem to be working.

When I was single, I often went to clubs and bars with my friends. I didn't dress provocative and I still was able to get men buy me drinks because of my personality. You can still dress sexy and conservative so it doesn't look like you're desperate. Dressing provactively, will attract the wrong kind of men.
What I did was if a certain kind of man caught my attention, I wasn't afraid to go up to them and dance and if we hit it off, I always said "I'm thirsty! You want to go to the bar?" in the middle of the dance and more often, they would go with me and offer to buy me drinks. I wouldn't let a man buy me drinks on his own without my supervision cause you never know if they are gonna put drugs in the drink.
If I was at a bar and not at a nightclub and I find a man that caught my eye, I would go up to them and smile and say "Hi. Are you here on business?" and I would let them talk. Then I would say "That's nice. Oh I'm so thirsty, where's the bartender?". Then most of the time, they'll offer to buy me a drink. If after asking my question, the men act self absorb and doesn't look like he's gonna offer to buy me a drink, I will just make an excuse to leave the conversation.

Act tipsy and then promise to go home with them after "just one more drink"....
No, seriously though... I am all for socialization, and if this is just about free drinks and I am off base here then forgive me, but perhaps you could socialize in a way that doesn't involve drinking and partying or spending money. It's not as if you are going to find your future husband or any meaningful lasting relationships that lead to a fulfilling life...in a guy who is buying a chick, who has already had a few, a drink to see if he can get her liquered up enough so she will go home with him.

Sleep with the first man to buy you a drink and let him know that you intend to sleep with every fifth guy to buy you a drink.
You should get plenty of drinks.
When you have had enough, let it be known you'll be back the next night.
By then, I'm sure there will be a queue of eager drink buyers waiting for you.

Just announce loudly when you enter the bar, "Gee I hope I do not get overserved again tonite, I turn into a beer slut after I consume a bit too much alcohol.""Did I really take my blouse off last night?" The drinks should come pouring in after that,

Maybe the reason you are having a hard time geting free drinks is that you lack conversational skills. No one wants to hang with a boring person who obviously only wants freebies. Think about it.. would you want to spend time with a guy who first asks you to buy them something?

Well I commend you on trying to break into the biz While some people think the oldest profession is bad and well nasty. Others think its ok. I'm in the latter group.
Wearing low cut shirts, short skirts will help.
If the drinks are expensive, maybe for-go the panties for added effect.

Strike up a conversation with a guy. They'll usually buy you drinks if they're interested in conversing with you and want you to stick around.

Agree to have sex with them? Seriously, why are you using men as meal tickets and expecting them to buy you things? You seem like an attention whore. Why should men do things for you when you probably won't give them anything in return? Is it because you think you're hot?

Don't be moocher/sponge. Have some self-respect. Stop going to bars and stop drinking .........it will ruin your life. You might become one of the homeless.
