All the scriptures of the world don't refer to God as a Him. In fact the Bible doesn't either in the original languages- it's just translated that way.

But I think reading holy texts from all over the world is a great idea. It's pretty much a hobby of mine, and leads to a much expanded perspective on things.

No the real goal of life is to be a good person, help your fellow man, and contribute to society. If our goal was simply to life our life for God we would all be monks.

The problem is the lack of unity among the religions, all with a different interpretation. The problem is not God, the differences are between the religions.

Yes, to love God is to glorify God.

We find God through obeying His command to love our neighbor for where love is, there God is also.

You may have met him more times than you know. He is all around us-omnipresent as well as inside of us. Look a little closer to everything around you ( and in yourself) and you'll see. Living and breathing virtue and goodness brings you closer to him. :)

No. We are to love God with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our spirit and love our neighbor as ourselves. That is a synopsis of all the law and prophets. That's not what you said and I do not know what "all the scriptures of the world" means. If you mean all religions, then NO definitely not that. Most religions are false.
