Does it work just like a four way? I've come across a couple when I'm on the road. I'm just confused on what exactly they are. Help?

There could be more than four ways. I know of a place where five roads come together. Can be confusing

I have seen signs, with that exact wording, put up to indicate to the drivers that the intersection has stop signs for traffic going all directions.

What the sign means is that you must come to a complete stop e.g. " stop all the way". You will see these signs near hospitals, schools etc. Apparently, a lot of drivers slow down for a stop sign, check for traffic and then go, failing to stop completely. its got nothing to do with a 4 way stop.

Traffic lights help the world go in a easy pace. It's very helpful.

It sounds like it is an unmarked crossroads or a big roundabout you must alway give way to the traffic on your right cause they have the right of way

The sign applies to all streets at that intersection.
