"Seven Years" by Norah Jones
It was the first song we ever danced to AND our wedding song. We were at my house and I was cooking dinner when the song came on. Jason (my husband) stopped me and told me he just had to dance with me. lol, wow, good times. Exactly one year later we were dancing to the same song as husband and wife.
There are a lot of songs that remind me of my husband... and make me cry... espically durring deployments.... lol

I don't remember the first song because we were 11 or 12 and it was a junior high school dance. I do remember that we danced to Starway to Heaven (which was always the last song at our school dances.)
Our wedding song was Everything I Do by Bryan Adams.

Back when we were friends, before we started dating, we threw our friend a surprise party, and everyone was dancing and carrying on, and that was the first time we ever danced together. It was to "All my Life" by KC and JoJo...and that is going to be the first song we dance to as husband and wife on 7/12/08!

i think the song "At Last" by etta james is a great song... but there are a lot of oldies that may be right for the first dance with ur significant other...
check out yahoo and do a search for some wedding songs...

Our prom we danced; for the first time after being together for nearly 11 months; we danced "to the window!!!" I distinctly remember us throwing our hands up and to the right and to the left while he was behind me in a circle of friends...
That was fun.
I wish I would've been able to go to G-Town if I hadn't damn wrecked that night!!!

LOL! You must've been married in 1991 when "I Wanna Sex You Up" came out (tick tock ya don't stop!). The first song my fiance and I danced to was "You and Me" by Lifehouse.
