Two statements. An atheist can observe the natural world around him/her and reach a conclusion. An atheist can listen to arguments by other people. Generally, the arguments of people do little to persuade an atheist (which person can know the truth after all?) Therefore, an atheist is left with personal observations. In any event, an atheist probably thinks about it more than the average religious person. They just blindly accept whatever religious diet they are fed. So while it may make them less likely to reach a particular conclusion, it by no means implies they are dumb.

No. It has nothing to do with intelligence. That's kind of a stupid thing to say and reminds me of the things that I hear coming from some of the atheists who think that Christians are dumb because they cannot reason about life and the world and rely on myths and superstitions, which, of course, we do not.
Why not have a little respect for your fellow man who was, after all, created in God's image just as you were, and who, just like you, is loved by God with an endless love?

No. Atheist can see why a god would exist. They just have no evidenvce for one and all the current and past ones are obviously man made.

LOL! I am unable to see why Ra or Quetzalcoatl or Zeus or Odin or even Brahma exist. I'm a moron (which does not mean I revere the angel Moroni).

We have a 50/50 chance of being right, just like you! No one is smarter. Especially because you can't judge how smart one person is by a label!

I am sorry but you DO rely on ancient myths and superstitions, if I have missed something new and modern in Christianity that was not written thousands of years ago, please let me know. But I think theres the bible. And thats it.

What if "God" doesn't exist?
Or what if "He" does, yet still lets babies die of cancer, lunatics fly passenger jets into buildings, and evil people live rich, full lives?
Wouldn't that mean He must not be paying much attention?
