Is this a child or an adult? Wilton has a cute drummer boy cake pan.
Or try this:
Drum Cake
Bake a double-layer round cake following a favorite recipe. Cool.
Frost the top of one layer and set the other layer on top; frost sides of the cake, leaving an inch from the top unfrosted all around.
Frost the top of the cake and the unfrosted inch on the sides with a different color.
Use frosting tubes to make a zigzag design on the side of the cake.
Set two bread sticks crisscrossed on the top of the cake to make drumsticks.

I am not a drumming expert, I invision the drummer boy, round cakes layered, colorful frosting, put up on its side maybe, to show off the "top", decorate with twizzler rope for the criss cross design. Just an idea, I am sure we all have ur intepretation of a drim, lol. Add a strap, maybe from a fruit roll up, pretzel rods, maybe choc. covered ones for those stick things. and there you go.Good luck.C

uhhh, did you look at the picture? The drums are all circles. Circles. You can find round cake pans anywhere. You just bake them all seperate, then put them together, and decorate them. Decorating is the hard part. Thats where the skill comes in.

A nice round layered cake should work fine. It's up to you on how creative you get with the icing.
