My parents will visit LA in November. They like to find a few nice towns in So. Cal area for photograph taken. I heard Ojai, Santa Barbara were good choices. What else? Thanks!

Perhaps Avalon Harbor on Catalina Island. Your parents could also enjoy a day on the island as well. Many visitors to So Cal also like a photo of the "Hollywood" sign, and Long Beach harbor taken from Signal Hill.

I don't think it's the city that makes a great photograph...I have a new bunch of Santa Monica from on top of the Pacific Wheel, some in Malibu, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach...I think some of my best are of the shipping and ports of Long Beach.

San Diego, for sure. I live in Coronado (a little "island" off of the bay) and this is a beautiful place. People come here to get married, it's so lovely. It's under an hour to get down here.
