I think they're being optimistic... there's no guarantee it'll "bomb" despite what you may think about it.
...it's definately win it's time slot tonight, though.
I'm going to reserve judgement until I actually watch a few episodes - it's from the same guy who gave us the re-vamped Battlestart Galactica show on Sci-Fi ... and despite the totally new "feel" of it - that was darn good television.
Got the VCR set & I'm hoping it's good... (but maybe I'm a deluded optimist and just want more good television this fall season)

Because they're stupid. When they cancelled Crossing Jordan and renewed ER for the umpteenth season, that proved it. Not that ER is bad, but it's old and tired.
