......besides brushing, flossing, water-picking, toungue scraping, gargling, baking soda, salt, and hydrogen peroxide.

I've tried all of these to death!!

The dentist just tells me to eat healthy, which I already do.

Sometimes it isn't your mouth or teeth. Have you had your glands checked? My friend had HORRIBLE breath and it ended up being her adnoids.

Drink more water too. This will make a difference. Also always carry around gums or mints and keep one constantly in your mouth. Also go to the regular doctors and get test for digestive problems. Sometimes that can be the cause as well.

Get your teeth professionally cleaned by a dental hygenist every 6 months to remove tartar build-up. Also,examine what you are eating. Do you eat or take in garlic supplements? Certain foods can give your bad breath(broccoli,cabbage,etc.). Try eating apples and crunchy veges,chew sugarless gum to allow the saliva to flow.

Do you have heart-burn or reflux regularly ? Stomach acids creeping up your esophagus are bound to stink.

Same with any infection - tonsils, adenoids, sinus, even ear infections.

Dry mouth can cause it too, as can oral rinses (mouthwash) with alcohol in it.

I would see your general practitioner / family doctor and address your concern with him/her if this is not a case of hygiene being lacking. Something is definitely amiss.

What about chewing gum...extra strong. I saw a case on T.V, the dentist sent off some samples and said the woman had an overgrowth of a certain bacteria. She had antibiotics and i'm pretty sure that cured her.

THERE ARE OTHER REASONS WHY YOU MAY HAVE HALITOSIS BESIDES YOUR MOUTH.
HAVE A PHYSICIAN FIRST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO MEDICAL PROBLEMS, THEN SEE WHICH FOODS YOU'RE EATING. FINALLY, ARE YOU TAKING CERTAIN MEDICATIONS AND DRINKING SUFFICIENT AMOUNTS OF WATER?
