I really feel sorry for all the people out there that think GOD is just a guy in the sky,. If you really knew him you wouldnt think that way.the BIBLE is the word of GOD, written by men, inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD,tells you all about HIM. You will be sorry when you are left here on earth to face the antichrist. There are so many prophesies that have already been fufilled it is just sad that more people dont learn about this.

Think of it this way if I'm wrong no harm no foul. I don't drag you to church with me or force you to read the bible and if I die and nothing happens then no problem, but if your wrong you get to spend all eternity burning and writhing in a pit of sulpher living out unimaginable torments so I think I will pick Jesus over your reasoning. In fact why is it that Atheists have this incredible need to sign into yahoo and bash peoples religions what has any of us ever done to you, generally when people hate on a particular group of people its because of fear and misunderstanding.

Hello... Only you must know your own reality as fashioned from your own brain's activities. For you to state others live a lie is without evidence, isn't it? "Before it's too late" for what? I didn't miss a thing during this life even if there isn't a God. You, in fact, may (and will) miss out big. It seems a bit brazen for you to claim you know reality.

Sadly for you, it's impossible to disprove the existence of God, despite everything that we've learned through science. Of course, it's also impossible to prove God existed at all, so it's really a mute point.
It's still amazing however (to me at least), that so many people choose to believe, many word for word, the teachings of a book (the bible), over what we are discovering day by day from science. We're taught in almost every aspect of our lives to seek answers through evidence, and this applies to all aspects but one - religion.
The bible itself is full of impossibilities, contradicting itself enormously. Still, to many believers, the bible's numerous scientific enigmas can be explained by lost translation, or human error whilst being written. Anything they can't explain will be explained with another "God anomaly" that it's impossible to prove or disprove.
So to answer your question , does/did God exist? I don't know, no-one can possibly know for sure, and maybe no-one ever will. But that's unlikely to change in our life time and it's something we'll just have to learn to live with, as ridiculous as the facts make it seem.

but if we don't believe in something, then why live life to begin with? It's the people who don't believe in something that live a lie, in my opinion. Can you honestly say there isn't a point to life, that we're all just here for no reason and that all we have to look foward to is death? Sorry for not agreeing with you here, but that's not how I want to live. I prefer to believe that there's actually a reason for being here.
