it depends on the size of the dog, if it is small, it may be effected a bit more then a large dog would be.
I think the dog will be fine, hemay need a few trips out toilet and he may vommit due to the sugar in it.

It does depend on the size of the dog. If a lab eats a cupcake, it is not going to kill him. If a teacup yorkie eats one, it may not kill him, but it will make them very ill. They will experience diarrhea and vomiting and if it really effecting them, seizures, as the chocolate causes a neurologic reaction.
It will be a more serious reaction if it contained DARK chocolate, as the it is more pure and has less additives.
Main thing, you should call your vet. It all really depends on the size of the dog. Plus if he doesn't act funny after a few hours, chances are he will not be hurt by the cupcake.

Probably not, but depending on the dog's size and how much chocolate was in the cupcake, he might get sick from it.
If your dog ate one, check with your vet but he'll probably tell you to keep an eye on him unless he's showing some sign of distress or illness.

It depends on how much REAL chocolate he ingests, and how big he is. The reason vets warn against giving pets chocolate is that it contains a lot of caffeine. They are much smaller than us, and eating a chocolate bar would be like eating 20 to them. Caffeine is a stimulant and could cause their heart to beat irregularly, and could possibly cause heart failure. So do not feed a pet ANY stimulant.

It depends on the dog's size and type of chocolate. Rather than risk your dog's health though, it's best to ask your vet. Better safe than sorry! In a matter like this one, I'd rather hear it from a professional than from Yahoo's Answers!

No, there is not enough chocolate in a cupcake to be lethal. (It actual takes quite a bit.) He may throw up from the high sugar content, but he will be fine.
