It depends on the background check. If it's an employment history probably. If it's a criminal, probably not unless the police were involved.

They may see you were arrested but the charges were dropped and you like every citizen in America are innocent until proven guilty. So you really have nothing to worry about unless they asked you if you had ever been arrested for a felony and if so were you charged and or convicted? If you said no then you lied and chances are you will not get the job. If they didn't ask then you might get it. If this happened before you were 18 then that record is sealed and they will never know about it no matter what. As long as you were honest in the interview I would say you should be OK. Good luck!

Usually background checks only include companies who you worked for and your term of employment. If a potential employer wants to know why you left your last job(assuming they dont believe your reason), i believe they would have to call the company themselves. However if you are applying at the same company you were terminated from, then YES, it will come up.
