I accept both. People can do whatever they want, and as long as it doesn't harm me, I'm fine with it.

Marriage is a loving union between two people. Plural marriages don't work, and there can't be one going on without some sick exploitation stuff as well.
Old religious texts like the Bible and the Koran support it because it was the only way a women who'd had a husband killed in battle could have the protection of a man.
I still can't believe homosexual marriage causes anyone a moment's genuine dismay. "Hi, I'm Dave and this is my husband Bob." Yeah, so what?

I'd like to see marriage opened up, there is no social reason to limit it. However, The tax and divorce laws would need some work, and many, if not all, ar not really prepared to have plural marriages. But after a few years things would settle down and smooth out.

I don't actually have a problem with gay or plural marriages. However I do have a problem with 14 year old girls being "married" off and raped, with parents who object to the FLDS's assignments of their minor daughters geeting excommunicated fired and ostracized, with hundreds of teenage boys getting dumped/exiled by excommunication so that three girls each would be available to be assigned by "revelation" to males, a theology which makes female salvation completely dependent on the whims of a husband in good standing with this "church", a church which even today preaches "******" are of Ham and Cain's cursed blood and are "the devil's representation".

A lot of religions that allow plural marriage end up being dangerous cults. Or at less that is the association that most people make.

God never said plural marriages were a God given right. Matthew 19. God made one man and one woman. God allowed it then because of the hardness of mans heart.

Polygamy is not allowed, and the law of the land states this!
As for Gay marriage? It should be allowed! If one couple can be married, they all should be allowed to be married!
As far as I am concerned, they should ban marriage altogther! I was married twice, and it didn't take either time! I was just as committed each time!
So it is not as if, my failures, or anyone else's success, depends on whether two people, same sex, or a man and woman are entitled to get married!
KEEP RELIGION OUT LAW, AND GOVERNMENT!

I don't have problem with what two adults agree to do or even 4. When those 4 adults start having kids like puppies. When the father does not even know the names of his children IT then becomes very very dysfunctional as far as I'm concerned.
When the children are victims I have a problem.

Legalizing plural marriages would be a nightmare. All of marriage law would have to be overhauled. If someone can make it work, hey, whatever, they're free to do so, but as of right now it couldn't simply be legalized.

God never approved of plural marraiges. I challenge you to back this claim up or delete the question. If you can not back up this claim you are falsely decieving people in order to start contraversy.
