I own a shop, and could steal your vehicle in as little as about 5 minutes. Slide under the vehicle, cut the power cable, and none of the on-board systems have any power to operate. Pull it up on a roll back, and I'm gone to sell it to the chop shop, and all of this doesn't take much time at all. A friend of mine had a high dollar vehicle stolen from his yard in broad daylight while his mom ran to the bank and back. That quick, and it was gone. Your best defense is have it insured to cover it in the event it does get stolen. Any system on a vehicle requires power to operate, and an antenna to send a signal, so think about it. How do you think they got the others? On-star is good for locating inexperienced crooks, but the real crooks have knowledge, and the tools to get it.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

No. I own a 2008 and I was worry about that. I have been told that the OnStar vehicle recovery tracker is not good if the thiefs disconnect the battery or if the thiefts are pros and know where to cut the wires that lead to the tracker/sensors then is gone forever. LoJack seems to be the only thing worth it., but if they steal it and the police find it, they will not find it in one piece, that's for sure.

1/4 of all Escalades get stolen or have something stolen off it, which is by far the highest percentage of any car ever. The best thing you can do is park it in a safe place.

No dual Pitbull's, Python's and flame throwers? Young baggy paint's is out to get your's for a local drive by or robbery. I suggest armed guards with AK-47's. Just keep replacement insurance on it and hope you don't get a carjacker intent on driving you to the homicide. Own a Gun and licence to use it?

Why would you even want to drive such an overpriced, gas-guzzing piece of crap, anyhow? let someone steal it, collect insurance money, and buy a decent sports car with a security system that is worth a damn.
