Lean meat such as turkey or chicken. Pile on the veggies and if you must have cheese make it Swiss as it is lower in calories than American cheese. Skip the mayo or use low cal mayo. Also use whole wheat or multi-grain bread.

Use whole wheat bread, white bread is like a glue that sticks to your insides (a.k.a. BAD). Inside your sandwich you can basically put whatever you want. I just would use not a lot of mayo and very thin slices if you put cheese. Cheese has a lot of fat.

that's suitable. in case you consume a sandwich like this for lunch daily, and something healthful for breakfast and dinner too, then you will actually initiate feeling and finding extra healthy. The trick is to not sneak in undesirable snacks in between food. once you're hungry, permit's say, when you come domicile from college, or artwork, yet you're actually not waiting for dinner, decide for something like a yogurt and granola, and probably some fruit thrown in. in case you stick to those policies, then you will initiate feeling extra useful, too.

If you eat meat, then fat free turkey, or lean ham is good. Add lots of fresh veggies like green or red bell peppers, green leaf lettuce, tomato, onions, sprouts, black olives, etc.
You don't have to add cheese, or even mayo to make a great sandwich. Try adding fat free or reduced calorie Italian dressing to it. It's tangy and delicious.

Lettuce: romaine and/or iceberg,
sliced tomatoes,
thin slices of onion (if you like onions),
some asparagus tips or sliced artichoke hearts...
Add a drizzle of olive oil and a slight sprinkling of salt on the bread, or some mayonnaise if you prefer...

If you aren't a vegan, add any of the following:
a slice or two of your favourite cheese,
a slice or two of baked ham or turkey,
a sliced hardboiled egg,
some boiled shrimp or a tin of tunafish.
Take your pick!
:-)

Here's an alternative to a sub... on bread. Take an extra large torilla, thinly spread some cream cheese on it take some salad mix add it to middle of tortilla, you can add cheddar cheese, and hard boiled egg for added protein. It is a meatless delight. Very HEALTHY!!
