While I can't comment on specific people I can say that if you were to ask who was most against war you would find members of the military were because WE are the ones fighting the war. Not college kids, not some dude or woman marching in a street, it is the military members fighitng the wars. If you took a real to life "war" vet he/she and asked if they were for or against the war you would get mixed answers. It all depends on the individuals knowledge of past events, i.e. History and their moment in life. The anit war crowd is small because America is not at war, America's Military is at war. I see no Victory Gardens where I tread!

Observed (not participated in) the anti-war rally in DC a couple weeks ago and saw young anti-war demonstrators with fake uniforms and carrying signs saying that they were vets. Why I know they were fake is that they were NOT ACUs and they had JROTC patches on the side of their uni. If they had been deployed, they wouldn't be wearing regular fatigues/BDUs. I should have pics somewhere, but I have no idea how to post them. i'm new here haha

Most veterans protesting against the war are indeed veterans, but inevitably some impostors are convincing enough to fool some people, anti and pro war alike.
Look up Jesse MacBeth, for instance. Although in his case, his impersonation and lies had more to do with his feelings of rejection from the military than any political purpose.

You have to understand the mindset of someone who believes that War is the Ultimate Evil. Dressing someone up in a uniform that doesn't happen to belong to them is thus justifiable. Heck, political assasination would probably seem justifiable to some.

I agree an example would be nice. Also what proof do you have they are fake. If you have proof you can turn them in and collect a nice reward, because it is against the law to impersonate a military member just as it is to impersonate a police or law enforcement official.

all these over the hill soon to be irrelevant throwbacks to the bad old days of the 60s hippie movement are just trying to relive what they believe to be their glory days. the real sad part is the youth that have become enamored with these fossils and their archaic ways of thinking, trying to become flower children and hippies them self's. it's really sad that these kids have been fooled into believing that they are being individuals when they have no mind of their own, just doing what their masters tell them

If you look anything like your avatar, the Republicans will reject you outright!
As for your question, it is wrong. Because there are a number of Liberals who are war veterans.
Liberals have shed as much blood for this country as conservatives. Most of us do not feel the need to wave the flag saying I am veteran.
We show our patriotism in other ways, such as exposing George Bush as an idiot

So you think all veterans of war are definitely pro-war?
Try thinking outside the box, even if just for a few minutes.

I have no idea if this is fact or not but given the fact that they did it during Vietnam it wouldn't surprise me.
