Well first tooth I'd say $2 and/or a special little stuffed animal or a toy. After the first tooth, a dollar is fine.

I usually try to give a dollar but we give the golden dollars or 50 cent pieces, on occasion a bill. They love getting the unusual coins.
My oldest had to get a tooth pulled by the dentist with a shot etc and we gave her a $5.00 for that but only if it is pulled by the dentist.

We always give a dollar when there is a tooth. (sometimes in his excitement he looses the tooth) Having them write a little note to the tooth fairy and having her respond is a bigger thrill to our eldest son then the money.

I'd say $5 for the first tooth, and $1 for the rest.

I always love hearing when my mom or dad say ' the tooth fairy is going to leave a shiny surprise under your pillow! '
I just giggle just thinking of it ;)

Usually, it'd be a dollar for each tooth. Maybe 1.50 for a molar. :D
