He was bitten by Fuzzy Squirrel and now he's turned rabid. Just ignore him, he'll die off soon enough.

I have only read one post. I cannot say that I agree with the way the person is posting, but, I have seen a lot of atheists post in similar ways.

Most industrialized nations have some kind of free speech and freedom of religion. Since I believe in those things this person and everyone else has a right to post what they want.

The only thing that really bugs me is the ridiculous ignorance of claiming that theories are facts. That isn't freedom of speech or opinion, that is just plain ignorance.

This is particularly true of evolutionists who claim evolution is a fact. I don't call everyone who posts that evolution is a fact an arrogant ignoramus even though I think it.

Another example would be determining a "fact". Evolution is a scientific theory and since it is based on probabilities it can never be considered a fact. The existence of God is more like a civil legal case where it must be decided if a person/being legally exists.

Both the scientific method and civil legal actions can determine facts.

The difference between the "facts" determined by legal means and facts determined by the scientific method are that "facts determined by legal means are only "facts" within the jurisdiction of the court which decided them and scientific facts are universal.

Most people don't seem to understand the methodologies involved and the differences BUT are more then willing to shove some non-fact at others and expect them to be ignorant enough to accept it.

For example, the non-fact that "Chosen by Grace" claims to speak for God. I would have to see the documentation and decision by relevant authorities before I believe that one.

Well if you refer to the person I am thinking of then NO. I am a Christian. Someone going by that name, or a similar one, upon reading my answer, which was polite and to the point, posted a short lived question, asking if I was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, which I am, saying that I am a pervert and should be drummed out soon.

Honestly, I think allot of us on here, make the mistake of getting a bit big for our britches, BUT, making claims, such as that someone is a pervert, is over the line.

I remember someone else on here, asked a few questions about Witnesses, when another Y!A member answered, the asker claimed to know where the person worked and lived, then when I answered made the same claim about me. It is REALLY sad when someone feels the need to make up things about others, especially such petty things.

The only reason I found out about the question/slur by CbG about me was because one of my contacts notified me that she noticed him ask the question and that I should block him so he doesn't try to get me kicked.

I am a Christian, but I am by no means arrogant, and I am quite humble. I am relatively sure that some of the atheists here have a higher IQ than I do, and I am sure that most of them know more about scientific theory than I do.

I try to treat others like I want them to treat me. Sometimes I lose my temper and can be sarcastic. That is wrong, and I know it. I am only human and am doinmg wrong when I do that.
I would never dare to speak for God.

A surprising amount do in R&S, but then I have seen some really asinine comments by supposed Atheists as well.

Personally I think it is a few Theists making very lame attempts at making us look bad, but thats just me.

They are kids. Its the only explanation.

No, I think God is very displeased with arrogance. Also humility is to be Christ-like. So no One person can not speak for all Christians.

Being Chosen by Grace...ie. Election'..means the calling out of believers. What you have to grasp is the idea that...of all creation...all that is, was and shall be, your name, your spirit was written down to be amongst those that would be among the Elect. Not because you're so good or bad or worthy...but just BECAUSE. To believe in God is an ability that is impossible...without God giving it TO you. And ultimately, eternity isnt about you or me...its about a collective "Bride" being given unto Christ and He then in turn returning Himself and the Bride unto God..that they might be One. So to be amongst those who have the capacity to 'believe' and who are the chosen...is a...a...(trying to think of a worldly analogy) its like hitting a mega trillion lottery when the chances were a jillion to one you would win. For that election....the awesomeness of which is hard to fathom, it evokes a humility in your soul unparalleled to anything on earth. Its impossible to be arrogant about being chosen...

He is quite rabid, isn't he?

Most Christians I have known in the real world are nothing like this guy, thankfully. Granted I've met a few, but I think they are in the minority. Here's hoping it stays that way, for all our sakes.
