I do not hate! I am a Christian. I let God be the judge.
Dear Lord, keep us from judging others. You , Oh God, are the only one who is perfect and therefore able to judge others. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Wow...looks like I picked a good night to stay up late...all these really interesting questions. I guess my good Christian mom would like me to answer that Christians don't hate anybody, but that would be full of crap. Actually, the true defintion of a Christian is a follower of Christ, so I guess we are all supposed to be against Satinists. But, I gotta tell you that I don't know anyone who goes around saying that they are a 'Satinist', so maybe that is why is appears that Christians are against only Atheists. An Atheist is one who does not follow any religion, A Christian follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and a Satinist follows the Devil. They are all closely related but really (3) separate beliefs. I think that many people confuse Atheism & Satinism as the same but that is incorrect. If you are noticing the hatred for atheists, do you notice the hatred for everything else? Perhaps you need to look for other things instead. I would suggest looking for all the nice things that people do every day without even thinking about it(the person who lets you cut in line, the person who lets you keep the change, the cop that gives you a warning instead of a ticket, the person who smiles at you, the person who asks "How are you ?", etc.) Guard Dog

I do not hate anyone. In fact, I sympathize - that is to say I can understand why someone would be an Atheist before I can understand why they follow Satanism.
By Satanism, I mean followers of Anton Szandor LaVey. (not sure what you might mean) When I got interested and read his book, I could not find anything that differentiated what he called 'Satanism' and just basic secular hedonism. It reminded me of what Alister Crowley did with Golden Dawn and became boring to me very quick.
Atheists are made, not born. Humans are born with a natural curiosity about a higher power. It takes the effort of other humans to convince them there is no power higher than man.
The very act of wondering is Agnostic, while Atheism is a conclusion. Sometimes overzealous religious people make Atheism seem like a sensible choice. This is something I understand too well.

Satanists. do no longer properly known Christianity. Christ never existed: actuality. The bible is twisted trash, that for the duration of basic terms a gullible fool might think of had any relevance. The "god" of the bible would not exist the two. as far as Christians hating us? properly they are kinda taught to from delivery. Its aggravating rather, that human beings may well be crammed with such blind hatred for some thing they have 0 understanding of. final time I checked, christians haven't any great love for atheists the two. Like Satanists, christians get spoon fed each style of made up bullsh*t approximately atheists to boot. Christians does no longer understand the "actual ingredient" if it smacked them upside the top.

Here's my hypothesis: Atheists are a real threat to them. The draw of science and logic and fact is more a threat to the religious authority than some radical cult. Satanism is very small and to the general public is very misunderstood. Many believe satanists "worship the devil." Some might, but the basic core of satanism is the turning around of christianity. It is about putting yourself first. It is about personal responsibility. You take care of yourself because nobody else will and it's nobody else's responsibility to do so. Of course, this is actually quite common in our contemporary world that focuses on the individual but most people don't realise this. But for the most part because it is misunderstood and thought of as some "wacky cult" it is not taken seriously. Atheism on the other hand, with it's logical and scientific basis is a true threat to the religious business.

I have no hate for atheists. Some of the mean-spirited people who post on this site make me angry. Usually they claim to be atheists. I have not really seen any posts on YA by satanists.

I'm hope that Christians don't hate anyone. Everyone has a choice to make as to what they believe and what they want. The Word of God is out there. If they choose a different path then they have to deal with what happens to them.

Why do you think Christians hate atheists? Because some of us quote scripture trying to warn them of the danger we feel they're in? That's not hate, that's just concern. Or maybe it's because when an atheist posts a "question" that's just a means of sneering at our beliefs, one or more of us answers back? You and your fellow atheists need to get yourselves a dictionary, because sharing and self-defense do not indicate hate. However, sneering and ridicule and verbal attacks do. If you don't like the responses you get, stop asking for them.

I do not hate anyone. What you do is your own personal choice and I have no control over that. Do I hate what it stands for? Yes. Do I hate the person who chose to act in that way? No.
Correct. I do not hate anyone because I control my emotions. Do I become passionate about things? Yes. However it never crosses over into hate.

You notice incorrectly. Christians do not hate.
I have noticed a lot of name calling by atheists; some of them call us "dumb," "morons," "fools," etc. One atheist advocated sending us all into a cave and sealing the door, thus murdering us all. Some have advocated sending us all onto an island. There seems to be some Christian haters around here.

They don't understand either very well and true satanists are much more discreet than your garden variety mixed up teenager.
So Atheists present a more direct, open threat to them.
