it appears "jesus" was a person, whether he was the son of god is the real question. The bible is in reality a variety of books written by various people at various times, which were then re-written through translations and various kings and popes who wanted changes.

Yes Jesus existed. There is now archaeological proof of his existence (History of the Bible - The History Channel). GOD is omnipresent. I believe and have faith that Jesus was God incarnate. He came to save the world, not condemn it.

I do not debate or argue my faith, and I do not fault or argue with any one else's. I'm just stating what I believe and faith is believing in things that can't be seen.

Living my life as a Christian is bringing me peace and that's a lot more than I had before. I would rather live my life as a Christian, having faith in the Lord and walking a narrow road that brings me hope and gives me strength than living my life as I had before ~ spiraling out of control, on the verge of suicide with no hope in my heart.

Humbly,

It is not unlikely that Jesus existed, however ther are no eyewitness acounts or any confirming evidence as of yet. What acounts we do have is like one of use writing about the 1930's from word of mouth accounts.

As for God there is no evidence that would indicate that he exists or that the any of the events in the bible happened.

I'm an atheist.

Jesus probably didn't exist, he has too much in common with earlier harvest gods who died and rose again. I'd like to think he did exist, to be honest. There weren't nearly enough heroes around in the Roman Empire.

If he didn't exist, then the New Testament wasn't written by the people it's supposed to be written by (like apostles). The entire Old Testament is a highly suspicious work whichever way you look at it.

very few people would deny the existence of Jesus. the real question is was he really the son of god or god in physical form? as for the existence of god that's up to you, and let no one tell you he does or does not exist. as for your question on who wrote the bible, you can look at my own questions as i asked the same one and got some good answers. also you can check this link as it tells a fairly accurate account of where the bible came from. as for me i am a die hard atheist.

Jesus and God still exist. This concept the world does not understand because God's desire that the world be saved but lets face it he knew before us that the world would reject him.

There are greater historic (not purely Biblical) bills of Jesus, his existence and his works advised by using extremely historians of the day than there are bills of Julius Caesar. actuality.
