Yes because I wouldn't worry since I'd know the date of my death and I'd try to think of how I'd save myself when I discovered how I'd stop worrying about it and even if I die a while later at least I'd die knowing that I didn't just give up and actually tried to save myself. i think that if I knew when I was going to die I'd be more in a hurry to do what I want in life and help others.

I have already seen my death in a dream. I hope it doesn't occur but I will know when the time is near, based upon circumstances I've seen in my dream. Let me tell you, it hits home when I'm in the city where my death occurs, and we drive by the scene. It raises the hairs on the back of my neck! Now, and in my dream, I am most concerned about my grandchildren. Who, presently don't exist.
Incidentally, I would like to add that my married daughter now resides in this city. She was a girl when I had this dream and we don't live in a big city.

I would. Due to hereditary conditions, I don't have a great deal of time to look forward to. Many of my female relatives died before the age of 50.
I adore life, and I'm lucky enough to adore almost every single person it. However, I do like a certain amount of tidiness. Knowing the date and time would help me ensure my possessions went where they should, my words in those last few days went where they should the way they should, and that I'd done as much as possible to leave things tidy. I already try to do this, but it would be nice to have a specific date and time.
I'd like to know how because it would help me make it easier on the people I love. For example, if I were going to die the way my female relatives did I'd try to look as good as possible and practice whatever I could to make it look as effortless as possible for my stepchildren and husband If I were going to die in a car wreck, I'd like to be able to look as calm as possible so as not to traumatize my passengers. I'm not a big one for prevention, except when it comes to those I love.

So if I did and, say, it turned out I was hit by a car in the middle of Los Angeles during rush hour and then I made damn sure I wasn't in LA that day...
... would:
a) I Instantly be teleported into the middle of the highway?
b) I not die, thus avoiding death altogether?
c) the City of Houston (or wherever I happen to be) suddenly rename itself the City of LA for that one day?
d) I prove that the notion of destiny is a farce?

My first answer is yes, but after I think about it for a moment, I'd have to say no. That would just be like Dooms Day looming over me for the rest of my life.

Depends on how it will happen, in some cases I would like to know and take time to say good by to my friends. In cases of violent death, I might change my schedule..

No way. Life is hard enough without that kind of knowledge hanging like a pall over your life.

I can't think of anything more depressing. I like surprises, and that includes my time and manner of death. I'll pass.

I wouldn't. I love life as it is and want to be able to enjoy each of my days instead of living life in a countdown form.
