I admit to doing this too - just getting mad about people who are different then us?

Ever heard the saying
'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'
Don't shove our beliefs down their throats. If we want to set examples, like God wants us to, were not doing so good(especially me)

I mean this doesn't happen every time, but sometimes on this program I say the rudest things come out of a Christian mouth. I think we know better...

I think next time we are judged, we should turn the other cheek, instead of losing our tempers

I'm not confronting you necessarily, because I do this a lot

Again, I'm not judging the entire Christian population

Also, I'm not judging you, so please don't get mad at me.

Also, just yesterday, I learned that Christians should be different and not be polluted like the rest of this world. Look that up in James 1: 19-27. I'm doing a study on James, and that seemed to pop out at me. Ever heard of C28? Well the bible verse that goes with that is Colossians 2:8. It states that Christians should be not of this world. I thought that was interesting

Matthew 7, John 8...says not to judge others..

Further 1 Corinthians 13...tells us above all things, the greatest thing is love...

but, many have lost sight of the love....because they are blinded by judgement....

Earlier today, someone answered my post with the quote,
"If you judge others you will find no reason to love them",?"

you unquestionably made an extremely sturdy factor. God perspectives all sin because of the fact an identical-the two damaging. while human beings exchange into Christians, they share the sturdy information to others who choose to take heed to it, and in places like this..to easily communicate. area of being a committed follower of God is to instruct what Scripture says. a lot of human beings won't shop on with God because of the fact of His instructions. we don't choose to offend human beings, yet we do could tell them a thank you to love and serve God. they are additionally to blame for locating Scripture on their very own. Christians shouldn't choose by way of implying that it takes better than faith to get carry of Salvation, however the cost of repentance could be defined.

The fact that everyone holds us to a higher standard is proof that they believe we should be really good. That says a lot positive about Christianity right there. On the other hand, if we react in the "human" way, with anger and venom, then they will immediately accuse us of hypocrisy. Because they KNOW that we have a higher standard. Of course, we are not perfect either, but they love to see us mess up.

Wha-hey!. The Bible gives you loads of get-outs.

You can 'turn the other cheek' if you want, but the Bible is so full of contradictions that you can also go with 'an eye for an eye'.

What a wonderful book. Written especially for Americans!

Bless 'em.

Well said. 'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'
So we can lead the horse, and the rest God does. If the horse pulls away, let go.
That is how to plant. The germination and growth is not our concern.

I think we're not a bit judgemental. We're a lot judgemental. We can't even agree with other Christians on most topics.

And our job is to ignore judgement from others, Jesus told us it would happen, why be surprised when it does.

I agree with Mack. We should try to be more loving and less judgemental. The bible says:

How can you remove the splinter from your brother's eye, when you first need to remove the plank from your own?

I agree with this totally. We need to worry about the things in our own lives that need work, and try to help others in need.

the bible says do not judge , you will be judged in the same manner. so who ever is doing that is being judged in the same way. people are bad about judging others. people need to practice and teach their kids how to respect and what love really is. it seems it has been forgotten

Yes, I agree.. There has been to much of a forcing christ. People have to accept him own their own, or it matters not.
Also, I much preferred the Church when it focused on helping the poor, and guiding the congregation on faith. All the political lobbying has been a big turn-off.
