He dumped me about 8 months ago, it was both our first 'serious' relationship, now recently i have spoken to him for some reason again and we end up arguing, its pathetic i know and i probably shouldnt make the effort to speak to him, he has said things to me like i am fat and im not attractive, im thick and retarded and thats apparently the reason he dumped me. why is he using these pathetic insults for me, are they really what he thinks or thought?

OK.... how old are you? Then I'll answer this question properly.
Well, I'll explain what I think here anyway. If you're in your early-mid teens, what can you expect, young guys are potty-mouthed assholes and he's probably feeling really insecure now
If you're in you late teens, man 17-18-19 year olds (i'm almost 20 btw) take things way out of proportion. Everytime the wind blows through their hair they lash out at something.
If you're over 20 then I have no say in this because I'm not there yet.

Well first of all, he's a jerk and if he dumps you because of those reason, he needs to get a life and a girlfriend who only cares about looks too. (Couples who are like that have nothing to do but stare at each other's perfectness) Sometimes guys can get jealous and especially if you have been more successful than him after the breakup. Maybe you have lost weight, been promoted, seen other people, or some other thing that would make him jealous. Also, if he went out with you thinking all these things which are mean thoughts in the first place then he has a pretty bad personal life. Hope it helps!... Good Luck with the jerk

You don't tell your ages, but he sounds pretty immature. It sounds more like you dumped him. People say stuff like that just to hurt you. He knows what things would hurt your feelings the most and that's exactly what he'll use. You may be very pretty, but he wants you to feel bad so he'll say your ugly. Most girls worry about their weight, it's a common insult so he'll say your fat, you must be fairly smart for him to say your retarded.
That's the kind of thing you can expect from someone who is trying to make themselves feel better, he sees you moved on and are doing just fine with out him. Your better off not talking to him, this just shows you how petty he is, and lets you know that he is not someone you would want to be involved with again even as friends.

Ok basicly it sounds like he still loves you or is jealous of you
I know it may sound crazy..... But after spending a large amount of time with each other and being 2gther for over 8 months, i personally think he has relized what he has lost and wishes he cud have you back, and beucase he he knows he aint getting you back he is makin you pay for it....
So basicly ingorne him... and more on.... like they say

If you are not fat, unattractive, thick and retarded then obviously the insults are manufactured. But why do you seek contact with someone who doesn't want to interact with you anymore? The insults are his way of keeping you at a distance.

If you take him to court the first thing that you are going to be asked is WHY did YOU leave your things with him in the first place? If you didn't want them put into storage you should have gotten them out when he was putting his things into storage. He was not obligated to take care of your things. Guess it will be an expensive lesson for you to learn huh?

he's just unhappy bout sumthing...it could be his life, the break-up between you 2, sumthing really, that's why he's takin it out on you to make him feel better bout himself...but you shouldn't want to be w/neone as boyfriend/girlfriend or even friends w/if that's how ur gonna get treated!
just ignore him...dont give him any satifaction when the next time he says nething mean to you!
if you do this, he's gonna be shocked & angry that you're not givin him the attention that he's thriving for...he's not worth even lookin at if you ask me!

Hi Babe, take no notice of him, he sounds like he is saying all this so in his head it will help him to stop loving you, sounds like he is hurting, dont bother with him babe, get on with your life and let him see what he has lost, he will never know how much off a true genuine person you are because he is acting like a kid.
