You imagined all of the signs being there when they weren't.
Either that, or he does like you but you're a "guilty pleasure" to him. He's not supposed to like you. You know what I mean?

If he is really shy, he must feel embarrassed to say yes. Try to get him in a conversation and take from there.

people wont show their emotions infront of other people cos it degrades their ego, best thing 2 do is dont ask out right but hint, u shud get a response from that

being a boy when i used to tell my friends who i liked and they told the girl it made me not like her anymore because she would make fun of me maby he is just afraid that you will not like him and treat him the same way he would treat you.
