i guess as far as Christianity goes, you can do whatever you want, say 'sorry' and it's all better.
wow. how convenient for them.

While i am not a christian I would say that you get Saved only once. This would be when you find the faith to begin with. from their its a matter of being forgiven when you do something sinful. And from there it depends on what sect of Christianity you are. While most will probably say you can be forgiven for commiting a sin multiple times each may have a different way to go about being forgiven.

God is very loving and forgives freely as said in Psalms 86:5 "5Â For you, O God, are good and ready to forgive;
And the loving-kindness to all those calling upon you is abundant."
Psalms 103:12 - "12Â As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset, So far off from us he has put our transgressions.
These are just 2 of the many scriptures that speak of God's forgiveness. And these in Psalms were written by King David who committed a grave sin, two actually. He commited adultery with Bathseba and then to cover it up ultimately had her husband killed in the line of battle. But he was broken at heart that he had done this against his God and begged for forgiveness. He was punished of course, but God recognized that he had totally repented and and was deeply sorry.
We could say that David was saved before he did this but then lost God's favor. The main idea though is the heart condition. He forgives freely but only to a point. If the one sinning does not repent and stop committing the sin, especially the same sin, then there is no forgiveness for him. You don't get to do wrong, ask forgiveness, do it again, ask for forgiveness....he can read hearts.
- Heb 6:4-6 "For it is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit, Â and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance"
Hebrews 10:26 "For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left"

you are not really sorry for what you have done, and the only way you are forgiven is to be really sorry and really ask for forgiveness. once you let Jesus in to your life, you will stop sinning, not because you have to, but because you want to, you will feel better when you do :)
we all fall short of the glory of God, we all make mistakes, we are born of the flesh, and in to sin, so, you don´t need to be re-saved so to speak, have you heard of the last supper? what happened just before the last supper? What did Mary do? you will find your answer there.
May the Holy Spirit be with you in your searching :)

Being saved, or born again, in a one time acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ. While we are not and will never be sinless, we are expected to turn from sin. I would have to wonder if someone who is continually committing the same sin is truly a saved Christian.

you are only saved once but you ask for forgivness everytime that sin is commited. once you are saved i dont think you will commit the sin over and over again. yes it mite happen a few more times but i believe by being saved you wont want that sin to happen anymore therefore you wont commit it again. God is a forgiving God. thats what i believe. im not a bible beater by any means but im not ashamed to answer ur questions.

We believe that the sincere apology (real contrition) is met with forgiveness. G-d knows we sometimes fail (repeatedly) despite our best intentions. Jesus said you should forgive your brother 70 times 7 times (your sister cannot be forgiven ;<>).
The point being, our intentions to go and sin no more sometimes don't last. The story of the Prodigal reminds us that no matter how we sin nor how often, if we are truly repentant (and not just asking for a free pass) G-d will welcome us into paradise.

Jesus told us to forgive others seventy times seven. Would He forgive us any less?
I commit the same sins over and over. Paul, the apostle, apparently did too. He wrote, "the good I would do, I do not, the evil I would not do, I do". We have a body of flesh and a sin nature. I struggle with certain things. Sometimes I overcome a desire to do something I should not, sometimes I succumb.
There is a difference between a person who truly loves God, and wants to stop sinning, and a person who gets up in the morning thinking, "oh, I'll do as I please and ask forgiveness for it". The difference is within the heart, and God can see that.
You do not lose you salvation when you sin. However, the bible says, if you continue in willful, rebellious, day by day, "I don't care I'm going to do as I like" sin, that is something that can have eternal consequences.

God is infinite and eternal. His Love and Patience never wear out.
He has allowed us to enjoy this thrill ride of physical life and has granted us free-will in doing so. God WANTS us to choose to do His will, but waits throughout eternity for us to make that choice.
That doesn't mean there are no consequences. There is an eternal and immutable law of consequences acting through Creation. As you sow, so shall ye reap. Dominate and control people in this life and you will be dominated and controlled in the next.
Ultimately however, no soul gets left behind and no one gets lost on the journey back to the Creator. The only guarantee in this universe is total joy and unlimited love in the arms of God.

It is simple. The destruction of sin is its forgiveness.
To believe by mere confession, forgiveness is granted, yet holding onto the love of sin in the heart is purely self-deception which has shackled man for centuries, and continues to do so today. There is no Forgiven 6.0.1

You don't get re-saved every time you repent, because you are saved when you accept Jesus as your personal savior. A sin that you keep commiting is like the "thorn in the flesh" that Apostle Paul also had, a weakness that you need deliverance from. Most people have something that they need deliverance from and with prayer and fasting, God can deliver you from it. But it does not mean that you are not saved.
