My first set had a hybrid but I felt it wasn't a pure set so I bought a new set with the traditional 3 to sw. I'm having trouble hitting my 3,4 and 5. Is there a hybrid that can match those 3 clubs?

YES without a doubt we are in the age of the hybrid. I played in a pro am yesterday and the pros are crazy about them definite plus only down side is you can only carry 3 wedges(including PW).

Not one for all three. But you can ditch your 3 ar 4 irons for an 18-20 degree hybrid. The 5 iron needs something more in the range of a 26 degree hybrid. I chucked by 3 and 4 for two hybrids - an 18 and 22. I can still smack the 5 however, pretty well.

I would surely try one out for several times at the range. I hit a hybrid awesome at the range and bought the thing. I then could not for the life of me hit the thing again and ended up back with the 3 and 4 irons. Good luck. I would just hit it several times to make sure the hybrid is for you.

Absolutely! I never have been able to hit a 3-iron or 4-iron consistently. I carry two in my bag......a #3 & a #4 Adams Idea A2 OS hybrid. They are sooooo much easier to hit than a traditional long iron.
