There is this guy that always makes a point to make sure that I know that he is not seeing anyone. We have dated before. So why does he keep telling me this? I don't discuss my dating life with him.

he is interested in you and he knows that at one point you were interested in dating him and he wants you to know that he is available if you want to be with him. just go easy on him guys have a fragile ego! just stay super busy all the time and eventually he will go away or meet someone new that is interested in him

maybe he wants you back, and wants to make it sure that you know hes available, because he probably wants you to make a move.
