OK, long story short- I had to get a new wedding gown. This is the gown-

This gown unlike my other first gown is covered in pearls.
My tiara which is non-refundable has NO pearls in it- all crystals- clear crystal beads and rhinestones. My veil also has NO pearls on it- just clear crystals. The dress does have clear sequins all over it so the dress does sparkle/shimmer.
The only piece of Jewelry I was going to wear are these drop earrings that my fiancé bought me and they are white gold with little diamonds and a big 1/4" canary diamond hangs off the stem. He paid over $3,000 for these earrings so I HAVE to wear them. Don’t get me wrong- I LOVE them but I might have gotten diamonds and pearls looking at this dress.
My question is do all my accessories sound OK with the new dress?
And are just earrings OK? I would rather not have a necklace.
Do only brides notice these small details?

I honestly don't remember any jewelry of any bride on any wedding that I've attended.
They could have been diamonds, pearls, kryptonite...I couldn't tell you because I don't recall.
Wear your diamond earrings and your tiara and veil. Crystals match everything. No necklace though.

I don't think anyone will notice that your veil and tiara do not have pearls. Plus you said that your dress has sprakly sequins so it sounds like it will tie in nicely. The earings will bring the whole look together, I think it will be beautiful! Stop stressing!

One additional note, with that neckline you might want a simple necklace, it really screams for something! Maybe you can find something that has both crystals and pearls and tie the whole thing together! (Yes only brides notice those things!)

Hi. It all sounds lovely. And, yes, you are right.....only the brides notice these details. I was at a wedding about 2 weeks ago, and now that I think about it I don't remember if the bride wore a necklace and/or earrings or not!!!!
It all looks nice. I WOULD NOT wear a necklace too, though.....just the earings, tiara and veil. Good luck!

Lol, Im getting married on Oct. 28th and trust me, I'm just as crazy as you.
First, your wedding dress is beautiful!!
Second, everything from the tiara to the veil to the earrings sounds beautiful! I realize your dress has peals but so long as you accessorize with cyrstals and nothing with color, it should look great!
Get all dressed up in everything though and have someone take a pic of you before the wedding. That way, you can study the pic and make sure YOU are happy with it. Everyone will be noticing you and what you're wearing but I guarentee that you will be your own worst critic :)

Oh my gosh, it seems no one has read your entire question. All your accessories sound great. Just wearing earrings will be fine. Yes, mostly "just" brides notice these things. Yellow earrings and a pink sash, hmm I never thought of those two together. But sounds good. Hope you have a wonderful wedding day.

Well, since your dress has that sparkle/shimmer thing going on, I think the diamonds and crystals will go pretty well with it. (And by the way, are you wearing that red sash? Because GOD, that's gorgeous!)
You might ask your hairstylist or florist if they would be able to touch things up with pearl and crystal, if you want to have something to connect the two.
I've always loved the look of pearls and diamonds together. I think you'll look great.

Yes, only brides notice. Wear your hair down with the veil and tiara and no one will notice. You will be having too much fun on that day to worry about it, and hey, if I have $3000 earings I'd wear them everywhere! Lucky!

Those earrings will be lovely =) are you just wearing the tiara and not the veil?also I hope you left the red sash off the dress..

The earrings, etc. all sound ok, but I'll be honest with you. If you have chosen the red detail on the dress, it won't match the earrings. Aren't canary diamonds yellow? If so, it won't go with red. The gold, however, would be beautiful :)

No one will notice these details one bit. My accessories weren't an exact match cuz I changed my dress too. My purse was actually from the first dress and a different shade of white. No one noticed.
