Write down what you want to say in between sessions, that way you get it out of your system and you have some points to talk about at your next session.

Think of your emotions as one side of the see-saw and intellect on the other. Right now your emotions are holding everything down. It is telling you to feel something out and then it will return control to your intellect. This is not the time to make rash judgments or life decisions but to figure out what the problem is.

From infancy we have pillars of emotions like love, hate, anger etc and we build our personality on those pillars like bricks. Sometimes an experience shatters one of those bricks and we feel the pain from it. We may not even remember what the event was but we feel that something is wrong. It maybe that if our memory was really good and we could recall what event is bothering we might laugh it off as nothing. Something that happened that would not be a problem for us today yet we are still feeling the pain of it. Painful feelings are the same whether you are 6 or 60 years of age.

If you think of your mind as a time machine and go back to what you remember is times that were bad, you might find the one brick that is shattered and replace it with a correct understanding. If the bottom brick of a building is weak then the whole building above it is weak.

You are trying to solve a problem in the present when something might be signaling it was unresolved in the past. Take a good look and see if you can find it. Dont let your past sabotage your present and future.

You might like to consider another reason for your anxiety. Leaving class could contribute to anxiety as you may be missing some serious stuff that could affect your grade in the class and that would certainly keep the anxiety alive and well.

Seek help outside of school from a qualified mental health professional and for certain tell your parents.

If you have depression you need to see an MD and get this diagnosed and treated. Depression is something that is treatable so go see your doc and get checked for this. Since you physchologist at school will only see you once a week not see a psychologist outside of school? Most insurances will cover for this. See your doc for proper diagnosis of your depression and anxiety as well as treatment and a referral to a therapist,.

I find that the best thing to do is set a short term goal and accomplish it. Then another one slightly bigger, and another even bigger than that. When your doing this you cannot listen to anyone because other people only bring you down. The best thing you can do is accomplish accomplish accomplish!!!

awww! im really sorry! maybe you should think about seeing a therapist outside of school also! that could definately help. also, try taking really deep breaths, hold it for as long as you can (comfortably) and then let it out. i know it sounds really corny, but it works!! i really feel for you! best of luck, hun!

talk with your parents about going to a therapist as well.

if you need help, then ask for it.. our parents are there to offer us guidance and support and give us the things we NEED while in their care....
