There is more than just a health concern when it come to people's habit of smoking.
Smokers litter. If someone would throw a food wrapper on the ground, they would be seen as littering, but it seems that smokers can get away with throwing their cigarettes out all over the ground and out their car. What are they doing? They're littering!
Smokers make it as though their habit is a necessity 24/7. For example; they're are people who drink alcohol, but are people allowed to take "beer breaks" at work to feed their craving? NO! People wait til they get out of work. So why can't smokers wait until they get out of work instead of taking a smoke break every hour at work? Even alcoholics have some control over their habit than smokers have of theirs.

Admit it, smokers...you have a bad habit which goes way beyond your health and second hand smoke and you make all of the society around you feel the effect of it.

Some smokers do not litter oh generalizer of all great and small. You forgot to mention non-smoking parents leaving their used diapers where they want. Also you forgot the non-smoking sunflower seed munching driver that littered the shells for the 8 miles I was behind him. What about that poluting gas vehicle of yours, why don't you switch to an electric car or a bicycle like me? I also do not care to hear you and your domestic partner fight every night. Also, when your fat friends come over and visit, please ask them to lose a few pounds because it's the healthy thing to do. Little nazi b*tch.. LOL

Yes, smokers cost the American taxpayers billions of dollars with health related problems for themselves, their coworkers and their children.

They also litter and don't clean up after themselves, they throw lit cigarettes out of windows of cars, starting fires that ravage communities (i.e. San Diego County in 2004) ...
they are rude and inconsiderate of people like myself with asthma, who can't breath the smoke filled air without having attacks;

and the worse thing is, they don't seem to care.

They are killing themselves and think we should keep quiet and watch them destroy themselves and everything and everyone around them.

Try walking from the fresh air into a home where people smoke. The stench is overwhelming.

but, until they realize they are killing themselves, and decide they really want to live to see their children and grandchildren grow up, nothing will change their behavior.

I agree with you. No one smokes in our house or cars. We don't allow it. But I worked with smokers for 30 years, I;m suprised I don't have lung cancer.
