your muscle is spasming, so try to get lots of rest. twitch/spasm of the eye muscles are normally caused by stress, fatigue, lack of sleep, and prolonged eye strain. since you're not stressed out, then rest may be the problem!!

I've had an eye twitch last for weeks! There's no stopping them. Muscle relaxants can help - like headache medicine - but no guarantee.
My friend had one for like 2 months and they injected muscle relaxant into his eyelid!! With a needle! Eww! Worst part: His eye started twitching again the next day.

It was funny to us, but not to him.

In general, you just have to wait it out. Sorry!

Get more sleep and avoid any activities that may strain your eyes (reading or watching TV or using the computer in a dim room, for example, or doing these activities for too long without giving your eyes a break). This is usually what cures me.

I think if you are otherwise ok (no headache, visual problem etc.), wait for another few days, it should go away. Some people also relate it to good or bad luck, let me know if something really good (hopefully) or bad (god forgive me) happens to you.

It will go away eventually on its own, fact is I just had this problem a few wks ago, and it went away. I know its very irritating but you will be fine!

it wil go eventually, i had it for 2 weeks and it drove me up the wall. Avoid too much reading, staring at the computer screen and tv.
