I have a computer file that I threw away that keeps popping up on my desktop randomly.?

I uploaded a file of songs onto my itunes from a cd. Then I got tired of the songs and threw out the files (since I still have the cd anyway). Every now and then for no reason the files show up again on my desktop- and I throw them away again.... What is the deal???

Did you throw away the playlist or the actual files? Were the files on your desktop actually shortcuts, not the real files?

Use Windows Explorer and go to the folder that has the songs in it. Delete the files and empty the recycle bin.

That should do it.
