I'm cramping soooooooo bad!!!!! I took three, 200 mg advil tablets one hour ago and I'm still in terrible pain. My lower back hurts, I feel hot, I ache, I'm weak, and I have no energy. I can barely even sit up!!! But here's the kicker... I'm at work!!!! I'm like slumped over in my chair typing this right now. What can I do to ease the pain until 5. It's only 3:20.

Sometimes caffeine helps. Even though you don't feel like it, moving and walking around might help, too - if you can't get your boss to let you go home early. I mean, be honest - you can't work.
If this happens a lot, you should go to your gynecologist and see if they can either give you pain/muscle relaxer pills or birth control. I used to take 3 prescription strength Naproxen Sodium (over the counter in Aleve) and sit with a heating pad and still be doubled over in pain. It sucks being a girl sometimes!!
Good luck.

I am pretty sure if you told your employer what was happening they would let you go home an hour and a half early. Go home, take a warm bath and if you have any tylenol or midol at home that would be ok to take. Take Care now I know how bad those cramps can be.

I am so sorry you're suffering so . . .
You need to contact your GYN to let him/her know what's going on. If this cycle is an aberration, and you usually don't suffer cramps like this, one might wonder about some other cause.
If there's ANY chance you could be pregnant, you might be suffering from an ectopic pregnancy. If this is the case, you need medical care as soon as possible. Please have a friend drive you to the nearest hospital (I pray you have insurance) or urgent care to be seen.
All the best to you . . .

honey, you need to get to an urgent care center now! if you took 600 mg of ibuprofen and still feel this much pain, something is seriously wrong! i take 500mg for cramps and it at least eases it so i'm not moaning and curling my toes.

I'm sorry to hear that you have cramping and hope that you feel better soon. I'm not really sure what to do, but I'd suggest that you call your doctor and let them know what's happening and see if they can provide you with some guidance as to what to do.
Good luck and I hope you feel better very soon!
