you commonly see it in bathrrom, it's glass blocks but you can't see through it but it still lets the light come in???? what's the right name for it??

frosted or glass blocks. You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes.

Cool Christmas gift: Buy one, drill a 1/2" hole in one end, stuff Christmas tree lights into the glass leaving the last couple of feet out so you can plug it in. Wrap it with a bow. It looks really cool at night when it's plugged in.

I think they are often called 'frosted glass' but may also be called "opaque" or "translucent". I think translucent is the 'correct' term because it allows light in but you can't see through.

As a PS, I had these in the bathroom of a house I rented. They were so pretty, but it got HOT in there, even in the winter (It was in Arizona, so there's tons of sunshine)

just glass block but they have different names depending on type will google images for glass blocks -- brb -- http://www.advantageglassblock.com/images/glass_types.jpg they also sell vents for glassblock windows
