While I have no idea why a guy would be intimidated by a tall girl, I actually find taller girls attractive.
I like being able to look into a girls eyes when we're dancing, or doing the horizontal tango, and, considering how I'm 6'3, a girl needs to be tall to do this.

Boys may be intimidated by tall girls, but real men are not. I'm a 6 foot tall woman and have dated men from about 5'7" to 6'4". It all depends on how you feel about yourself. If you are self conscious and feel awkward, guys are likely to be the same. But, if you are confident and have fun, you usually get the same response. Don't waste your time on the ones who have a problem with your height, there are too many out there who know that it doesn't matter at all.

Because many guys have a self esteem problem, you know "short mans syndrome" doesnt matter how tall they are sometimes either, they feel inadequate for some reason, many bar room fights and pissing contests have spawned because of this. There are guys out there that are not intimidated by tall girls, they will be the ones with secure personalities.

Some might be intimidated. I like tall girls. It's them not liking me that's the problem. I've had girls tell me they like to feel feminine (that means I have to be taller than them). I had one girl tell me I was too short to talk to her. F**k that kind of attitude. I'm sorry if you feel insecure about your height. It's all a function of gene expression. There is no need to be rude. The funny thing is, every girl is surprised by how large I am despite my height. Go figure.

**I ADORE TALL WOMEN.** A tall woman is like a goddess. They are really special, and they need somebody who will remind them that they are wonderful and beautiful. Consider yourself lucky if you date or marry a tall woman.
Why are guys intimidated by tall girls? I guess it is fear of rejection. However, I am a persistent type. I know what I like, and I am tenacious in my pursuit. I just kept chasing until she agreed to date me, and we have been married for 34 years.
Guys, don't let fear of rejection hold you back. Keep asking. You've got to do it. It is really worthwhile. Show them that you are good enough for them.

How tall are you talking? I'm 6'1" so I'm OK with a 6 foot girl, but taller than that and I'm gonna look like I picked her up at Rochester's Big and Tall store.

i actually disagree. alot of guys have different preferences. some like them tall, while others like them short. just don't get the wrong idea and think because your tall you're more attraxctive and put short girls down because we aren't your height (like you did in ur other posts). different things work for diff. ppl. it can be a persoanl reason.. like my tal friend told me alot of guys didn't like her because she was tall and lanky. some guys think it looks masculine, but it really depends on ur body shape. i know another tall woman who is attractive and gets alot of attention from that alone. But then again, there are some guys who have spoken to me because im shorter, and im sure some think b/c im short they can dominate me easily. sometimes they are insecure w/themselves and want a woman to dominate, but some guys like the challenge of a taller girl (but really that depends on her personality). i just thhink if you are confident, and attractive you'll get all kinds of guys. being short can make me feel insecure if i was like that and if i was, i woulnt get attention. just work what u have.

It's a guy thing. Personally I don't let tall girls intimidate me. It's just that some guys don't like to look up to women ... literally.

Intimidated? No.
But it does fell awkward dancing with, walking with or being physical with a woman who is noticeably taller than yourself.
It makes me fell like I'm a little kid and with mom. That's not rational but that's how it feels.
