Big or small???

Hi all,

If you wanted a dog would it be a big or small dog?

personally i ******* HATE big dogs!! Any bigger than a spaniel and its ughhhh especially staffies and pit bulls!

It really depends on the breed.

I have a jack russell now and i love have a dog that size b/c it's so easy to go places with her.

However, big dogs are great too...i would definitely choose big dogs such as labs, golden retrievers, bernese mt. dogs, etc over real small dogs like chihuahuas or shih tzus.

I've met good and bad of both, but personally, the bigger the better! I love being able to wrestle around with my dogs! I love getting home from working and not even having to hardly bend down to get kisses! I love having a full body pillow at night (be it a fuzzy, wiggly one, still fun).
Not that I don't like small dogs. I wouldn't turn one down if he were on my doorstep! But on another note, as for adopting, small dogs are much much easier to re-home than large ones, so again, I'd favor the big doofy guys.

You need to spend time with a lab. We have a 90 pound chocolate lab/Weimeraner mix that is the biggest baby you can imagine. She'll go to my husband, lay her muzzle on his leg, and just stare at him lovingly. She has diabetes, and she must have figured out from the beginning that the insulin helps her feel better, because since the very first time, when she hears me mixing her insulin, she goes to where I gave it to her the first time, sits down, and throws her leg out for her shot.

I have one of each. They each have their good/bad issues. My Shepherd mix has the size to be a bully, but my little cocker is a tad spoiled because she sits on my lab and cuddles at night. I love them both.

A small dog. They need less excersise and the smaller the dog, the smaller poo you have to pick up. :) I also think small dogs are way cuter.

The only big guys I like are goldies.
