i want to be able to put pictures on it of the church and the rooms. and info about the church.

its up to you how developed a site you want and if you want to use your own domain name

Free Websites are not nice. You can get a good hosting service for $2 a month.

Free? You'll either need a sponsor who will pay for the bandwidth or you'll have to accept advertising on the site.

I think maybe you could use a Yahoo 360 site to do that stuff.
I don't have one so I don't really know how it works as far as pictures, clickable links, and graphics go......
But give it a try.
