I have two sisters--one twin sister, and a 14 year-old sister. We're really as close as glue--as my mom would say. We put our arms around each other, we hug, we kiss (on the cheek, of course), and I've developed a habit of placing my hand on my sisters' thighs! My sisters see nothing wrong with that, nor do I! I asked them if they feel uncomfortable with it, and they said it was okay! They don't complain! But then, our prying neighbors say I'm perverted, and that I'm having "incestous relations" with my sisters!?

I think that, perhaps, these neighbors are the perverted ones. Some people see sexual innuendo where there is none. It's their problem, not yours. As long as you, your sisters and your parents have no problem with this, it's nobody's business. When people give you attitude about it, just look at them and say, "You have a very sick and twisted mind." And then walk away.
By the way, I once had a neighbor who made a suggestion like that about me and my brother. The only difference was that she didn't know he was my brother. I'd recently got married and all she knew was that my husband went off to work and then a "strange" man came over to my house, I hugged him, we got in the car together and went somewhere. To her, it looked like an affair. To me, it was going out for lunch with my brother. She figured I was having an affair because it's what she wanted to think. Some people are just sick and sad. They really do need to get a life.

Some people have nothing better to do than mess with someone else. There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing innocent affection or concern for another family member. Maybe your neighbors should look at the three fingers pointing back at themselves when they are pointing one at you. They may have some issues of their own! Ignore them.

Your prying acquaintances probably grew up in those chilly-as-ice families the place all and sundry's convenience zone is approximately 10 feet from one yet another....in any different case incest DID run of their famlies, and that they immediately anticipate all and sundry is fairly like them. sometimes it somewhat is a cultural concern...as Italians, we draw close throughout one yet another and no person feels uncomfortable or threatened via it in any respect. subsequently they can't think of all people surely with the flexibility to be bodily/emotionally on the brink of ones siblings without it being irrelevant in any respect. subsequently, as a thank you to fill their sterile lives, they decide you based upon their own existence reviews. Who is commonly used with? perhaps they bypass to church and proclaim that they have discovered a sinner and condemned his deeds. do not replace your habit by way of fact of them. Too undesirable they don't have the loving relatives which you do, yet that's not your concern.

You know, the ones who gossip are usually the ones who behind closed doors are the people who do inappropriate things. I do think though that it's a bit heavier type of touching that might be necessary and even though they don't mind it you might want to be careful lest it be totally misconstrued. Try to find a little less 'creepy' of a habit; sorry, it just bugs me out a bit!!

It's kind of creepy. Back, arm, knee.. but thigh, breasts...
Remember it's not what you do, it's what you APPEAR to be doing.
Just don't be all touchy feely in front of people. That is just a little odd.
**You are getting very close to areas that are sexual. The thigh isn't that far from the genitalia. I'd be more than a little creeped out if I saw a girl handling her sister that way very often. Less touchy feely... It can be misconstrued.

Tell the little busybodies to stop confusing your relationship with your sisters, with their perverted relationship with their family members. Obviously they are uncomfortable with touch and intimacy period. Who are they to piss on an innocent moment with your siblings, to the point where you are questioning yourself and your sisters?
