Fanny.
Just because i always say, when i need my bikini line doing, i look like I'm hiding next door's terrier in my knickers.
P.S If you're American, i assume you are as you call it a pound instead of a dog's home, a fanny is not a bottom in England, it's your "front bottom".

whats its name already?
sometimes i would agree that a name change is good cos of the memories the dog may have with the old name. but check you dont give the same name wont you?
BEAU
LADY
MISSIE
MITZIE
I sometimes feel that names when we get our pets and see their characters often just jump out at us, and become very obvious; which in turn puts any planned names right out the window
Good Luck
Good on you for doing the rescue

Good for you! Good choice of dog too, terriers are lovely dogs, wilful but lovely ha ha. How about Beau - as in beautiful but pronounced Bo. Or Missy? Or Bojangles? Or Jade? Or Dusty? Or the best one of all - your royal scrumptiousness ha ha. Whatever you call your new addition, i hope you'll both be very happy together.

Terriers tend to have wiry coats, I was going to call mine "teasle" which is a type of thistle, as she had a spiky coat, but my little grandson got in first, and started calling her"Bibi" (beebee) and it stuck.

our new pup's name is lucky vodka, he's a great little fellow. Lucky, because that was his name before he came to us and vodka as my son wanted vodka as a change after our old dog, brandy. Not so good when out for walkies, when you're a grandmother and calling for vodka last thing at night.! have fun.
