and it's not only me that she tells her business too, she tells everyone! the lastest news was "omg i think im pregnant and haha i wouldn't know who the father is"...like she talks about her life all the time and says how she's soo sick of working there but yet never gets the courage to quit. my boss knows how she is and how she has her episodes so i dont know why she wouldn't just fire her...she even had a fight with the boss! she is nuts! she even told a parent of a toddler that he should go see a doctor bc he had kiwi seeds in his poop(he ate it the night b4) and she said there were soo many that it was spider eggs! ARE U SERIOUS? this grl is a wackjob! she never nice to the kids of the parents but how do i approach my boss about that? if a kid is annoyin her she sits him in time out for about 20 min and they are only 15 months-2 yrs old!!! she's only 'normal' about an hr before she's about to leave.nobody can stand her anymore. shes more drama than a high school student!

Just say that you don't want to hear about it or gently say something to the daycare director. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, write a note and stick it on the director's desk.

So are you the teacher or director? You've been there longer and have the experience...

Okay if I felt comfortable with the boss, I would go and tell the boss exactly what is going on. Just because you think that the boss is aware of what is happening, doesn't mean he/she knows all of this. Sometimes a boss just sees one or two things and might think that she is having a bad day. Seeing all of this, they will have to realize that she needs to be in a different job. You are going to have a very mad parent pretty soon when their child starts repeating (and it will happen!!) what she is saying. If I couldn't talk to the boss, then I would write a very nice but long letter to the boss. I would put it under the door of his office and not let anyone know that I did it. Anyway I am glad that you are willing to come forward and take a stand for these kids, they can't help themselves, they are to little. Good luck. Hope things get better with the next hire!!

the next time she says she is going to get a new job, tell her you are really glad to hear that and every day ask her has she found a new job yet and when is she leaving. Maybe then she will get the hint that she gets on your nerves. I would try to talk to the manager again, even if he is aware of the way she acts, may they are not aware of the extent or how she is punishing the kids (20 min time out's) or that she is saying stuff like "I need a cig before I kill someone" cause no child needs to hear that. At the very least maybe he can move her to the infant room where she wont have to punish any kids and they wont be traumatized by what she says cause they dont understand words yet.

don't be so bloody ignorant. If she does her paintings properly then why do you wanna reason issues? and asserting you do not wanna paintings with a drug addict it is in basic terms a plant that grows from the floor. coffee and Alcohol are drugs do you do them? are you a drug addict then? so which you in no way broke the regulation? and in case you probably did and that they referred to as the law enforcement officers on you will possibly you be satisfied? there is not any room for huge criminals in this worldwide yet something like that's pathetic you quite must be somewhat extra open minded on issues.

I would report her to your bosses. They need to realize what she is saying. What if one of the toddlers repeats something to their parents that she hass said and they think it was you that said it? Cover your own AZZ. I have a 3 year-old and he can repeat things he heard 2-3 weeks ago.

She is really needy and looking for attention. You sound like you are doing a very good job of feeding into it. Don't encourage it. You sound like a mature caregiver, go about your business. And as a daycare mom, please keep an eye out ot make sure that her personal problems are not affecting her work. If they do, please have an "off-the-recond" chat with the owner.

You need to talk to your manager. People like that do not need to be working around children.

spider eggs?

OMFG!!

Just tell her you're not interested in her private life, you're here to do a job and it doesn't involve taking confession from her.
