I think I have ADD. What should I do? I have thought it for awhile, im 18 and a senior in high school. My friend let me "try" one of her Adderall medications and it actually helped me out so much. It really calmed me down and I wasn't always so anxious and it helped with concentration, etc. But with how much the drug is abused, I can't just tell my parents I tried it, they'll think I'm a drug addict. How should I tell my parents?

You don't have to tell your parents you tried adderall; however it might be a good idea to talk with them about your symptoms/the way you feel. You can let them know you are considering seeing a doctor and ask them if they wouldn't mind helping you do this.

I'd think most parents would feel relieved if their child came to them with a problem such as this. I know i would.

take care of YOU.

u are 18 an adult
Go to a Doctor yourself
have the test he uses to diagnose add
then pay for your appt
and then
pay for your own medicine if he writes u a rx
But remember 1 pill doesnt show u anything
it takes 2 wks of regular taking to see a difference
