No idea, from the info you have given. Perhaps you are being distracted by the opposite sex, especially as puberty kicks in. That might be why you asked this ? in "Singles and Dating," after all.

I'm in eight grade to so I know what you mean.Well of course you know to study(even though it can get sickening). Always ask for help when you don't understand, and sometimes if you could even ask your teacher for extra credit it might help a little.

Ahh yes, the 8th grade change... you need to develop good study habits. Learn to take and practice taking notes in class, and try to stay focused on what the teachers are talking about.

My friend says 8th graders are hormones on feet, so there is tons going on in your life. To top it off, now you're expected to do well in school when they expect you to be getting ready for high school learning. It is normal.

well to start with, you might want to avoid asking school questions in a "single and dating" area.

I don't mean to sound rude but it is true. Half the battle of knowing the right answer on test is knowing who to ask for help from.

Its just the beginning of the year. If your not getting the material, saty after with you teachers until you get it. Study and work hard. It happens, so dont be too hard on yourself.

Do you got a boyfriend? To much T.V? Someone sitting around you who is annoying? To much pressure from your family. Go to the school consuler.

Ask your parents to help you on things you find difficult. If they aren't any help, ask your teachers to help you. In most cases, they are more than willing to help out. If you have friends who are doing well, ask them to come over and help you out too so you understand what you are doing. Good luck!
