Ways you could get over it are to treat yourself to something you enjoy most. Like going to the mall with your friends and just having fun.Anything to get your mind off of it. But if that doesn't work think about ways he wasn't right for you anyway.

Well indeed time does heal, as hard as it is in the beginning. In the interim of time, or making time go by faster is to do things you like. Be kind to yourself, take a class, a new hobby do something that interests you but you never did. Talk to a good friend if you need to vent about the break up. When I got divorced I panicked as I didn't know how to do the "guy" stuff. Well guess what I learned how to put things together, put up some shelves etc. It took a lot longer than someone who was used to do it, but it was fun AND it empowered me. Went to library got books, took free classes at Home Depot. And before I knew it I was back to my old self, and as much as I said I would never get involved with a guy again, did that too. Sorry for the breakup but trust me things always turn out better. God Bless

Time really is the best healer, yes. Having said that i got over my last break up by finding someone else more or less right away who was better looking, younger, funnier and had a bigger **** than my ex. Didn't half make me get over him a lot quicker!!!! I never gave the rat a second thought!

Honestly...YES!! Time is the only true healer. You can go out and party your butt off or find someone to ease your pain (if ya know what I mean) but time does the trick every time. Try and stay busy. That always helps me. Surround yourself with friends and family that love you and before long you may not even remember his name!!

Time is the biggest factor in my opinion. You can try to keep yourself busy and set deadlines for yourself, but the painful feelings will keep coming back and haunt you. However, as time goes on, it gets easier and pops up less and less frequently. Meanwhile, TRY to keep yourself occupied and get support from your closest friends. Wish you all the best.

go hang out with ur friends and have a good time
hang with someone that you havent hung out with for a while and just have fun dont get drunk and cry over him

The best way to get over it is to understand it...accept the part that you both played in it going wrong and move on with a settled heart and no anger.

Yes, time heals but in the meantime you probably want to make sure that you are still desirable to the opposite sex so I say go out and get hit on. You don't have to have any follow through but just knowing that you still have "it" helps.
