I used to do this as part of my job as Medical Assisting instructor. You contact doctor's offices, emergency room departments, labs, and other places these type of students could work and you make an appointment to go and talk to them about this. (or you can do over the phone but it's harder) Ask for the office manager either way.

Tell them you are setting up externships, and have some paperwork explaining the program, what the students should know, what they can do, etc with you. Explain when the students would be coming, how long they will be there, and who is going to be checking on them about their progress. Explain any paperwork or evaluations that need to be done, and who or where they are to send them. Explain that the externship is unpaid and that the goals of the externship are for the student to get experience in doing this type of job. Talk about the students that you have available to place, etc, etc. Ask if they would be interested in this program. Have a contract with you that they can sign, and give them a copy.

Hope this helps.

i do not favor to be discouraging yet both your MCAT and GPA are very, very low for clinical college. An allopathic clinical college will be searching for a three.7+ GPA and a 30+ on the MCAT. i'd propose taking 6 months to a 365 days to study for the MCAT formerly you're taking the genuine element. all of your adventure seems tremendous! yet you quite quite want to strengthen your GPA. i'd propose a particular masters application or postbac application that would want to truly help you out.

It is basically a sales position. You contact HR departments of hospitals and office managers at medical practices.
Can't you be trained by the person leaving the position? I wouldn't think they would put you there without the appropriate training.
