...so called "designer" mixed breed from a "so called [unethical] breeder" when you can get the same thing in a rescue or shelter for much less?

Would you risk that the backyard breeder of these mixed breeds doesn't really know what she/he is doing and will end up with sick puppies because said "so called [unethical] breeder" has no clue how to prevent such illnesses from running amuck in the home? Then won't shell out the money and drive 30 minutes to an 24 hour vet clinic for a really sick litter and/or pup?

I don't understand WHY anyone would support such [unethical] breeding practices, do you?

I'm with ya' Shadow!
With some people there ain't no talkin' to 'em!

Their money would be better spent on a labotomy!

Added @ Ashley:
You miss the point: it doesn't matter if they did all the "vet checks" and they are raised in clean environments, the point is that ANYONE who INTENTIONALLY breeds MUTTS IS IRRESPONSIBLE! PERIOD. END OF STORY!

The ONLY reason to breed is to better a BREED!
These so called "designer mutts" ARE NOT A BREED! They have no written standard, and do not breed true!
There is NOTHING for these breeders to be striving for EXCEPT MONEY!

GEEZ PEOPLE, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!
