LoL
well that's the opposite of what mine do....mine lack the powerful force that would enable them to shoot their poop, sometimes I have to wipe them with a wet cotten ball to clean them up....maybe I should feed them beans hehehe j/k

It is my understanding (and experience) that most birds who have projectile poop are those on liquid or fruit-based diets. Lories, for instance, can have really lose stool because they consume fruits and nectar -- high water dietary sources.
Finches also can manage to get their droppings almost everywhere except in the cage. I believe that is because they are little bundles of energy, constantly flitting from perch-to-perch, and often hanging on the cage side.
I have owned parakeets, conures and cockatiels. None have ever shot their poop out of their cage like a rocket.

Some birds will do this. Quaker Parrots( also called Monk Parakeets) can hang on the bars of their cage and send their little packages arcing out in breathtaking streams! They usually do this just as you are telling your friends how clean and neat he is!!!

LOL. Yes, sometimes they have amazing projectile capabilities. On the other hand, if her little budgies are "shooting" their poop, she might want to make sure their stools aren't too loose (diahrrea). Usually, a bird will squat and the poopies will drop directly underneath them.

If they shoot poop they are talented or sick. If it is runny they are sick. If it is normal stand away from them. Wow I thought only nectar eating birds did that. I have lory parrots and they can do that.
